GIDEON MATTHEW RELEASED FROM PRISON
Brief Story about Gideon’s Arrest:
Gideon Matthew is from Akwa Ibom State, who sells Phones and Accessories for a living along the Street of Akwa Ibom - Eka Street in Uyo Local Government Area the State Capital.
On Monday 16th September 2019, he was arrested by the State Environmental Protection and Waste Management Agency and taken to the Prison with the reasons being that he sells along the street which is not permitted but Gideon said this street in question was approved for them to sell there.
His bail conditions were tough and being that Gideon had no money or family members to bail him, he was in the Prison for 9 days. When Ndito Akwa Ibom Youth in Diaspora learned about Gideon’s Story through their MEDIA PROGRAMME - Ndito Akwa Ibom Media which Ndito Akwa Ibom Youth in Diaspora is under.
The Ndito Akwa Ibom Youth in Diaspora stepped in and Paid TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND NAIRA (N25,000.00) for the Release of Mr. Gideon Mathew.

TESTIMONY/APPRECIATION FROM GIDEON’S FRIENDS
Gideon Matthew who was arrested alongside Mary Ekere on Monday, 16th September 2019 by men of the Akwa Ibom State Environmental Protection and Waste Management Agency has been released after spending 9 days in Prison and having paid a fine of N20,000 and N5,000 bail.
